The blanketflower originates from North America. It produces large, striking flowers. It is an easy-to-grow plant that needs protection against frost during winter. Use this plant in perennial borders in combination with, for example, red hot poker, Japanese blood grass, and woodland sage. It is very suitable for flower borders and as a cut flower. People without a garden can also enjoy this plant, as it can easily be grown in pots and containers on balconies.
