Kohlrabi is a "Heirloom vegetable" in the Netherland. This is a real shame, because it's very easy to grow and also very healthy. Kohlrabi contains a lot of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. It's a versatile vegetable. You can cook, steam, stew, stir-fry and bake this vegetable. Finely chop kohlrabi and add it raw to salads or cabbage salads. The flavour of raw kohlrabi is very simmilar to the flavour of radishes and cooked it resembles the flavour of cauliflower.
