Organic sweet marjoram is a herb plant that originates from the Mediterranean region. This organically grown variety is therefore widely used in Mediterranean cuisine. Organic sweet marjoram requires a sunny location. During winter, keep plants in pots protected from frost. Organic sweet marjoram can also be sown indoors in pots.
The leaves and young buds can be used both fresh and dried in soups, dressings, salads, pizzas, lamb and pork dishes, pasta, and tomato sauces. Non hardy annual.

Sow indoors from March on, plant the seedlings out in May, when there is no longer any danger of night frosts. Needs a very sunny and sheltered spot with some shadow in the afternoon. Doesn't like wet feed.

Sweet marjoram isn't hardy in our climate and needs to be stored inside in pots for the winter or re-sown every year.
