Wallflower is a delightfully fragrant, floriferous biennial that produces a spectacular display of flowers in spring. The blooms appear in warm shades of yellow, orange, red, purple, and cream, attracting large numbers of bees, butterflies, hoverflies, and other beneficial insects. Thanks to its long flowering period and rich fragrance, wallflower is an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, along walls, and in containers. Wallflowers thrive in a sunny position with well-drained, preferably lime-rich soil. Regularly removing faded flowers will encourage an even longer flowering season.
