Germination: 14 - 21 days
Germination temp.: 18 - 20°C
Sowing depth: shallow - ½ cm
Plant position: sunny
Flowering period: June - September
Before sowing this flower mixture, you must first prepare the site. This involves removing all grass, weeds, roots, stones, and other debris from the soil. Flower mix seeds are always sown outdoors. Sow from April onwards in the desired location in a sunny spot. If the seeds are very small, it's helpful to mix them with some dry, fine sand. This makes it easier to sow thinly. Broadcast the seeds thinly and cover the seeds with a thin layer of seed compost, or gently rake the seeds into the soil. Keep moist and weed-free. Once the seedlings have emerged, your beautiful flower meadow will require no further maintenance.
In late summer, after the flowers have faded, you can mow the flowers to a height of about 5 cm. Let the flower clippings dry for a few days and then tap them with a spade to release the seeds, creating a beautiful, colorful flower meadow again next year. This flower mixture flowers from June till September. Pick the flowers before they bloom early in the morning and pick regularly to prelong flowering.
