Micro tomatoes are popular and well known. Even if you don't have a garden or only have limited space, there's always room for a micro tomato plant. Homegrown tomatoes taste much better than tomatoes from the supermarket. In cooler climates, they can be grown successfully in a greenhouse or outdoors in a warm, sheltered location. There are countless tomato varieties: small, large, red, white, yellow, brown, blue, and even green. Tomatoes are delicious in salads, on sandwiches, in soups, sauces, pasta sauces, on pizzas, and in oven dishes. They can also be boiled, fried, grilled, or stir-fried.
