Cucumber

Cucumber is an easy to grow vegetable. It needs a sturdy support. The flavour of self grown cucumbers is much better than the flavour of shop bought ones. Use cucumbers raw in salads and on sandwiches. Cucumber can also be cooked, steamed, stewed and baked. Fresh cucumber soup is a recommendation in the summer. Give your cucumbers a lot of water and fertilizer.
