Transplant the seedlings when they are about 7 - 10 cm tall in bigger pots. Aubergine doesn't tolerate cold, so keep them in a hothouse or a warm glasshouse or outdoors on a very warm, sunny and sheltered plot on the Southside. Keep moist, pest free and give each plant good support.
To aid fruit development, water regularly and provide a potassium rich liquid fertilizer with each watering. Harvest the fruit by picking them regularly and before the fruit surface shine fades.
