Tomato Couille de Taureau, translated to Bulls Balls. It's a very large and very fleshy beefstake-tomato. This tomato has a very outspoken tomato flavour with a slighty acidic touch. The flavour is not very sweet but very fresh. This variety is very popular in France but it originates from Spain. In Spain it's known as Huevos de Toro. This tomato has a flattened bottom. It ripens to green to bright red. The tomatoes can weigh 350 - 560 grams each. Use this beefstake tomato in salads, on sandwiches, in sauces, in soups, ketchup and in Italian dishes. This tomato needs a lot of warmth, light and support. Non hardy annual. Height: 180 - 250 cm.
